On September 1, 2020, Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT) newly regulated “Regulations for IEAT committee: rules and terms on operations in industrial estate (6th edition) B.E. 2563 (2020).” The 16-page regulation covers additional definitions on Process Safety Management (PSM) where it emphasizes more on safety approach, and alterations of hazardous chemical lists (shown in the annex).
This regulation was effective from September 2, 2020. In case of item 13 to 18, they will be regulated from May 13, 2021, and this includes all industrial estates except Maptaphut industrial estate, WHA Eastern Seaboard industrial estate, Phadaeng industrial estate, Asia industrial estate, RIL industrial estate, and Maptaphut Industrial Terminal.
