Key Summary
Amends the internal content of the Announcement of the Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning Re: Guidelines for the Preparation of Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (dated October 7, 2022) as follows:

In (4) of Clause 2, the phrase “or any other similar position” has been removed.

In (3) of Clause 3, the phrase “or any other similar position” has been removed.

In (2) of Clause 4, the phrase “or any other similar position” has been removed.
All of these amendments are intended to provide clarity regarding the exact position of the individual (natural person) required to sign the Environmental Impact Assessment report. It strictly stipulates that the signatory must be at least one executive director of a public limited company, or a managing director or manager of a limited company. Similar alternative positions can no longer be used.
