ISCC PLUS for Plastic Container Manufacturer

Background:

In recent years, the cosmetics industry has experienced growing demand for sustainable products incorporating biomass and recycled materials. To meet these market needs, obtaining international certifications that demonstrate the sustainability of raw materials throughout the entire supply chain has become crucial.

The client for this project is a manufacturer of cosmetic packaging materials. To meet sustainability requirements from customers and supply chain partners, the company aimed to obtain ISCC PLUS certification for its Processing Unit. We provided comprehensive support, including establishing the necessary management systems, preparing documentation, and in-house training, enabling the company to achieve certification in a short period.

Our Approach:

At the beginning of the project, we conducted a kick-off meeting with the client to establish a clear implementation schedule and define responsibilities throughout the certification process. We then performed a detailed review of the manufacturing processes and raw material management practices to design a management system that complies with ISCC PLUS requirements.

A key focus of the project was the development of traceability and mass balance management systems covering the entire process, from the receipt of certified materials through production and final product shipment. This ensured that certified products could be properly tracked and managed throughout the supply chain. In addition, we supported the preparation of procedures, work instructions, and record templates in accordance with ISCC PLUS requirements, as well as the implementation of a document control system to facilitate audit readiness.

Furthermore, we delivered training sessions for relevant personnel, providing practical guidance on both the certification requirements and the day-to-day operation of the management system.

As a result, the client not only successfully achieved ISCC PLUS certification but also established a robust operational framework capable of maintaining certification compliance and supporting long-term sustainability objectives
