Myanmar Revised the New Law for Their Industrial Zones

Myanmar has legislated a law governing industrial parks that empower regulatory bodies to punish polluters and land speculators. The Industrial Zone Law is enacted on May 26 to address the frequent problem of land speculation and improve environmental governance of over 60 industrial zones throughout the country. The law defines the responsibilities of different levels of committees and bans investors from occupying plots for speculation purposes.

Ministry of Industry in Thailand published Ministerial Regulation on Type and Size of the Factory

Ministry of Industry published a ministerial regulation regarding type and size of the factory B.E. 2563 (2020). This ministerial regulation was issued on the 5th of August 2020 in order to update the type and size of the factory to be congruent with the revision of factory operation control regulation.
